The Pikes and Loctisces: You Know the Way (Volume 2)
Chapter One: You Know the Way (Lilie's point of view) One morning while on an adventure I woke up Amber was still asleep. We had a sand elf with us, and he was no where to be found. Maybe he woke up and left, I thought to myself. Then, just as I was going to look for him, he came up to me with some wood and some bacon. "What are you doing, Mr. Sand Elf? I asked. "Fire," is all he said. Amber started to wake up. "Do I smell... bacon?" she asked, trying not to know. "Yes, Amber, it's bacon," I said. She sprung up like she was never asleep, or, like she was hyper. "BACON!" she shouted. "Stop jumping and stuff your face!" I said. "Good idea. I'll do just that," she smiled. That afternoon I went to the sand elf and asked, "Can you help us?" "What for?" "Well you seem to know the jungle well. I was wondering if you want to go investigating; you could show us ways to go." "Are you mad? Do you have any clue what's out there? Creatures are probably listening to us right now," the sand elf yelled, "Well, I do, and I choose not to go. Good luck on your adventure." Then he walked away. "I wonder what creatures do roam out there," I said quietly. 'There's only one way to find out, Lilie," Amber said, smiling right behind me, "We're going in." We walked to the dark entry of the forest. "This is familiar, hmmm," I said to myself, "Yes, very familiar."
