 AL ADVENTURES: The Thing (Lilie's Point of View)

CHAP: 1

On the day that I thought couldn't be worse it just about took the cake. Amber came over and I was grounded so I sent her home. Then I came in to my room and out of no where this thing came up in to my window and sat there, and stared at me. I screamed. "AHHHHHHHHH!" My mom came in with Amber. "Why are you here?" I asked. "That's beside the point. What's wrong?" They both asked. "Well I saw a thing but I don't know what it was. It was some kind of mutated small-like thing." I said, grossed out. "Well lets go investigate!" Amber said. "I dont know, it did look dangerous," I said. "Your not scared, are you?" Amber asked, teasingly. "No, I'm just grounded and I don't want to get in trouble," I said. "Your just scared, admit it!" "Nope," I said. "Well then, if you're not scared then come with me. After all, you are quite the dare devil," she said. "Fine," I said, madly. "You will come on one condition," she said. "What?" I asked in an enthusiastic tone. "Absolutely NO scaring," she yelled. "Oh, but thats the fun of it," I  moaned. "Too bad," she grinned, "If you scare me, I will not talk to you for the rest of the time. Got it?" "I guess," I said. When we were looking, we saw something funny looking.

CHAP: 2

I can't describe it. it's sort of funny looking," I said. There it layed, until I tried to touch it. First, I got a long stick, a pair of gloves, a coat and said, "Ok I'm ready now." I gently poked the thing and it poped up, and said, "WHO DID THAT. WHO EVER DID THIS, I'M GOING TO KILL THEM!" Amber and I screamed, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" "Whu-whu-what is it?" Amber asked, frightened. "How am I suposed to know, Amber, it's a crawling thing that looks like an alien!" "Whu-whu-what I'm sand elf, DUH," the thing yelled. "Well, how were we supposed to know? We just can't go around saying we know everything, now, can we?" "Eh, eh, eh, well you gotta point there, so I guess you weren't. Well, what do we do now? Wait, uh, Amber, this is the thing that was in my window! Amber we found him!" Well then, I guess we're done now," Amber said in a gloomy voice. "Actually, Amber, since we just got here, I was thinking that it wouldn't be fair if we didn't get to investegate, so let's go look around. Shall we?" "YES YES YES YES YES!" Amber shouted out with glee. "Save it for later," I said. "We have to check under each and every rock and leaf," Amber said. "No we don't," I argued back. "Well, I'm going to, anyway, because that's the way I am, Lilie, just accept it." Amber, come on, you know I've already accepted you. It's just that the stuff you do and say can be a little overboard." "Watch it!" Amber snapped, "Now go to sleep. I'm tired. Good night, Lilie." "Good night, Amber."
